If you are in the parking lot by 11:00am, you will be served.

We follow the Mifflinburg Area School District Weather Delay and Closure schedule
If the school is operating on a delay, we operate on the same delay
If school is closed to IN PERSON learning, we are closed.
FAQ's
Question: How is Hope's Haven funded?
Hope's Haven is funded by donations, and in some cases, grants. Hope's Haven is a ministry of Christ's United Lutheran Church and graciouisly provides their facilities for our use. Question: Where does Hope's Haven receive the food?
We receive donations from several local stores such as David's Awesome Cookies & Petzels, Giant, Sheetz and Weis. Much of the food is received from private donations. Some food is purchased from the Central PA Food Bank, as well as other local sources.
Question: When I come in to register, who are the folks helping?
Everyone you see is a volunteer, among them are Church members from various Churches, Family and friends fo members as well as students from several Life Skills classes from Miffinburg Area School District. In addition to helping on distribution day, volunteers also help with the following

Question: What if I am unable to get there on the distribution day to get my food?
Once you are registered, if you are unable to pick up your food you can name a Proxy to pick up your food for you. Jusy send signed, dated note stating who is picking up, and if if is for just the one time, or for how long they are authouized to pick up for you. They will be listed as a Proxy.
Question: What if the weather is questionable and I am unsure if Hope's haven is going to be open?
